It all started one evening at home in front of the tele, tralling the local Buy Swap Sell page on Facebook when John said ‘hey Trotters have a school bus for sale, do you want to have a look’?
We always know we wanted to travel and had been to the caravan show and discovered some fabulous vans kitted out. We were looking at going down this road, but a Mercedes van with a fitout weighed in around $90K… We thought this looked like a good option, but there wasn’t a great deal of space and lets face it…the poop issue wouldn’t be great in such close proximity…and we’re not getting any younger!
Covid also brought different feelings with it like being self sufficient and not having to share facilities with others. We liked the idea of having everything we needed in a very comfortable way and built how we like it.
